yet another week i guess. life is good in the amazon. i seriously love my area so much. everyone´s crazy. pretty sure that the sun cooked everyone´s brains a little bit. seriously. not one day goes by where i don´t lay in bed at night and think ´what the heck just happened´ ahaha. for example! friday we had an activity in the church and we didnt leave till midnight because the streets were flooded by the rain. i wont tell you how we got out lol. also i learned that the bishop used to be a serious break-dancer (look up video DJ Raidi rebello noite de flashback for proof. about halfway through youll find him)  and lets not even talk about the fashion show by Maria da Paz (the crazy old lady in the ward) featuring her newest garments!  We also worked this week. lots. in portugues, english, espanhol, and sign language. HA and you wonder why these emails are so wild! anyway thats all for today. love you all lots and email me!

another good week:) we had zone conference with the president. those are always really fun. President Caetano and his wife are the coolest. also the people in our zone are always super funny. Elder Luis from Zimbabwe was shocked to learn that fish can live in the mountains (not sure if he understands what a lake is but oh well) and we learned that elder alves (who is seriously like seven feet tall) loves to bake cakes! he brought us a sample and told us that his life goal is to be on masterchef:)  we are teaching TONS of cool people. we barely have time to sleep and eat (which explains the quality of these emails oppa) but I love this area so much. two of our investigators are professional brazilian fighters have agreed to teach me how to fight! Ill keep you posted on who the better fighter is. Also we are teaching Karen! she is seriously so cool. When we teach, you can see it on her face when something makes sense. and she is already giving away her pamphlets to friends. When ...

Its been a good week peeps! Portuguese is good and I ate a lot of weird things such as new fruits and fish eyes. Also I may or may not be eating armadillo next month. I will keep you all posted on that.  We are teaching lots of awesome people they just forget to come to the right church. For example Karen! She is our BFF. Wetalked to her in front of her house and she already had the Book of Mormon! She loooves to talk to us. Only thing is that every member of her family seems to be part of a different religion. So when we invited her to church she didnt realize that we meant for her to come to ours:( next week she knows! Ah She is awesome.  Also! we were hanging with our other bff Dani and her daughter Claudia (they are less actives that were baptized this year) and you guys!!! a flock of PARROTS flew by!! coolest thing. But dani and claudia are cool too:) Claudia is nine and wants to serve a mission like me ahhh. Love you all!

Last week of the transfer! Me and sister ribeiro have had a wild ride this last week. her dengue symptoms were coming back so we didnt work much tuesday and wednesday and she finally agreed to go to the hospital thursday. it was pretty boring! We left early in the morning and got back around six after the dengue tests came back negative. When I asked her what the diagnosis was, she said something about `´anemia´´ and `´chi chi`` (which is pee) so i have no idea but i think she~s fine now!  didnt get much work done this week, but our best friend Miria came to church for the third time. I love her a lot. and she loves church! Every week she brings a new grandkid with her and i dont think theyre as happy to be there as she is haha. Sunday, she even invited us to afternoon coffee with her! (we (and when I say we I mean sister Ribeiro) havent quite gotten to the word of wisdom yet lol) As for the Amazon fires, yesterday we ran around the streets in the pouring rain so I dont thi...
