e aí pessoal another week down. THis one was a ride for sure. Training is an adventure. and we have a MOUNTAIN of peeps progressin like cray cray! which is soo good. This week i read in Moses about how he didnt feel adequate enough to do the things God commanded him to. Then God was like ´did I not make your mouth?´ and that really spoke to me this week ahha. A few examples: Our investigators, Diana and Edson, have been taught for about 3 years and cant decide on marriage thus making baptism a little farther away for them. also due to smoking and drinking probs that wont get better we left them alone. UNTIL their 13-yr-old son started reading the book of mormon. THE SMARTEST kid i have ever met. He asked me why Lehi didnt write in the BofM if he was a prophet. Like what! so after an intense lesson with Tcherry, i talked with his mom. and you guys. they havent gone to church for like years. all i said was this - Diana. your son wants to go to church´ and GUESS WHO...

First full week with my filha, Sister Cruz! we are working lots and lots. Shes a beast. We also had the TLTs (girl APs) come to do splits which was super fun because one of them is my trainer, Sister Ribeiro! They almost froze to death, being probably like 70 degrees at night here. lol. Mostly the highlight of this week was that the Jehovahs Witness churro-truck guy upped his prices from 3 reais for a churro to 3.50 BUT NOT FOR US. if that´s not Christlike love, then i dont know what is! Anyway not much else happened. Vilhena is funny because alllll of our peeps that we teach have some big probs that stop them from getting baptized but persistence is key amiright or amiright!

Hi world ive got a new companion - Im training Sister Cruz from Argentina. she already had her first meltdown so seems like we are on the right track! Still in Vilhena which I am soo happy about. We had twelve people at church and we MIGHT baptize and orphan this week so typical manaus amiright? anyways thats it. until next week
