fruit and snails and salvation How was christmas pessoal! Mine was good:) lots of fancy beans and rice and chicken and old ladies that were planning our Christmas since last Christmas haha. I love Vilhena.  My hope for these emails is that they are as honest as possible as you can probably tell haha. But seriously I love the mission. We live off of free food from lunches with members and fruit from the streets. We looove making contacts with the people picking fruit from their yards bc they always give us tons (this week our fridge is full of mangoes, jambu, goiaba, and avocado all free wahooo). As you can tell from the throw-up venture from last week, my companion has been an adventure for sure lol. It´s been raining a TON here which means the giant snails come out to hang (seriously like as big as my foot). Every day we eat lunch with the members which is AMAZING. usually we drink what´s called Tereré which is an herb and everyone shares the same straw oxe. my favorit...

Feliz Natal! This week was wild! zone conference in Porto Velho which means 14-hour bus ride there and back. would have been de boas except for the morning of when my tiny little ecuadorian companion started spewing throwup:( she powered through that busride though. she~s a trooper for sure. I am very proud of her:) most of the time here I really have no idea what´s going on because everyone and everything is so wild. SO i have started to try and give myself a little direction by asking ´what can we learn from this experience?´ so the lesson i learned from this one is do not eat ramen with mayo and salami:) I think Sister Murillo will testify to that. Anyway we missed christmas church to go to the hospital. Another adventure in and of itself! anyway that´s pretty much been my week. READ THIS! so all of my emails got deleted:`(  sorry if i havent responded to something because that~s why. please forward me anything you have that you sent me in the past because i would love to keep those emails on here por favor!! e muito obrigada:) and tell me how you all are doing too transfers were last week! one hour of planes and 14 hours of buses and i have made it to paradise area wahooooo. showers with hot water, wind and rain that (somewhat) require sweaters, dessert every lunch, no hills, and the best pao de queixo in the whole world!!!!! I am so excited to be here. no bispas and no fights at ward council too! i wont lie though i kinda miss it. my companion and i are both new to the area but we have lots of sweet investigators that the other sisters left us. like Tiago and his lifelong turtle companion!  Love you all and PLEASE EMAIL ME OLD EMAILS (and new ones too hehe)
